Lifeguard (Swimming Pool)

Job Description

Responsibilities

To oversee the safety of swimmers and prevent injuries by providing supervision to the area at regular intervals
To ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Swimming Pool Complex including student water sports clubs training, school / department activities
To inform users when necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the Swimming Pool responsible for locking and unlocking the premises
Lifeguard on duty must conduct equipment and facility check prior to the opening and closing of the swimming pool to ensure that all lifesaving / necessary equipment is present and functional. e.g. lifebuoys, poles, start off boards, pool tiles.
