Work Timings-5.5 days-: 8.30AM to 5.30PM and Saturday 8.30AM to 12.30PM
Responsibilities
The WSH Coordinator will perform duties in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
(WSHA) and all relevant subsidiary legislations. This includes:
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety talks.
• Identify WSH non‑compliance, unsafe work conditions, and practices.
• Implementation of Safe Management Plan.
• Understand and execute the latest BCA requirements.
• Follow Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and procedures.
• Conduct routine checks / inspection on work activities
• Monitor effectiveness of implemented improvement actions.
• Collect data on WSH performance, conditions and practices.
• Conduct safety inductions and orientations.
• Participate in various safety meetings and maintain good safety records
• Respond promptly to incidents and accidents.
• Promotes safe practices at the job site.
Requirements
1–3 years of relevant experience in workplace safety, preferably in construction, marine, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
Experience in conducting safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.
Good understanding of:
Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and its subsidiary legislations.
BCA (Building and Construction Authority) safety requirements and regulations.
Risk assessment and incident reporting procedures.
Strong observation and reporting skills.
Able to communicate safety procedures clearly to workers and management.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
