Job Description

Job Requirement:

Advise client and its contractors on safety and health measures in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and Fire Safety Regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections at assigned installations to identify unsafe practices, equipment, or environmental hazards.
Implement and monitor Permit-to-Work systems and other safety protocols.
Prepare and submit monthly safety reports and annual fire safety reports (including Arson Prevention Plan) to PUB and SCDF as required.
Conduct Safety Induction Courses, toolbox talks, and in-house safety trainings for staff and contractors.
Serve as Confined Space Safety Assessor and support client during Safety Time-Outs (STO).
Oversee and manage emergency preparedness, including fire drills, table-top exercises, and Company Emergency Response Teams (CERT).
Supervise and ensure proper maintenance of all fire safety systems, emergency exits, and evacuation procedures.
Coordinate with client officers and contractors to ensure effective compliance and incident management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • WSHO: Registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
  • FSM: Certified by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
  • Candidates with both qualifications (WSHO-cum-FSM) will be highly preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, or process plant environments.
  • Completion of the following certifications:
    Confined Space Safety Assessor Course
    WSQ Manage Work at Height
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and electronic Permit-to-Work systems.
  • Physically fit to conduct site inspections in both plant and construction environments.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
