Technician (Bus Mechanic)

Job Description

Requirements
“Carry out preventive maintenance on the below list and carry out the minor corrective maintenance when discovered during preventive maintenance “

· Replace Alternator Belt

· Grease Battery tray and terminals

· Measure brake Disc 1,2,3 & 4 Thickness and replace if necessary

· Drain Air tanks

· Replace Air Dryer Cartridge

· Steering Idler Arm Lubrication

· Lubricate non-Maintenance free steering Swivel pin mount (If lubricating Nipple is fitted)

· Change Rear Axle oil and check Level

· Change Coolant, Drain/Flush Out old Coolant

· Change Engine oil and check Level(Manufacturer-Approved oil only)

· Change Engine Oil Filter

· Replace Air Filter Element

· Replace Coolant Pump Belt

· Perform Engine Tappet Adjustment /Valve Clearance Replace cylinder Head Gaskets

· Change Hydraulic Oil & Oil Filter

· Replace water separator Filter

· Replace Steering Oil Filter

· Change transmission oil and check level

· Change transmission oil Filter
