Job Description

Responsibilities

Receives Manifest and spares, inspects before kitting.
Tally TO number on manifest against Picking Ticket.
File signed Manifest for scanning and archiving.
Verify documentation, part number, serial number, and/or quantity.
IPC verification for different part number, Visual inspection for damages.
Open box for large items, inspect breakdown parts for mod kits.
Reject damaged items, raise discrepancy report, seal box with tamper-proof seal.
Provide unique verification stamp, photo-taking equipment, and storage
Check preload spares against Preload List for discrepancies
Fill Discrepancy Form if needed, return to WHs through CT for resolution.
Repack, seal, and update Preload List if no discrepancies.
Requirements

Verify presence of Documentation (e.g. Pick-slip & ARC). Check Part Number, Serial Number and/or quantity.
If part number issued is different from requested part number, verify IPC to confirm interchangeability & attached IPC printout.
Check signs of obvious damages (Visual inspection of Part & box – obvious dent, crack, chipped, scratched etc
Open box to inspect parts (Applicable for big boxes that may require special equipment)
Inspect breakdown parts based on manifest (applicable for mod kits), Photo taking of individual
Verification stamp after detail check on all pick slips.
Hand over the Manifest of preload spares and inspected preload spares to Kitting Team.
