Job Description & RequirementsThe Services required are set out as follows:

The Contractor shall provide a Teacher Aide to support the Science and Art

Departments.

The Personnel shall perform the following duties:

A. Preparation of Teaching and Assessment Materials

1. Prepare, assemble and replenish materials, equipment and resources

required for:

 Science lesson activities and experiments;

 Science practical assessments and performance tasks;

 Science enrichment programmes and activities; and

2. Prepare assemble and replenish materials, equipment and resources

required for scheduled termly LLP enrichment programmes and school

activities.

3. Prepare teaching resources, activity kits, labels and other instructional

materials as instructed by level teachers.

B. Classroom and Practical Lesson Support

1. Support teachers during Science practical lessons, experiments and

assessments by:

 Setting up experiment stations and equipment prior to lessons;

 Assisting with lesson logistics, including the distribution and

collection of materials and equipment; and

 Cleaning, packing and restoring equipment and work areas after

lessons.

2. Support Art teachers before and after scheduled painting lessons by:

 Setting up painting stations and equipment prior to lessons.

 Cleaning, packing and replenishing materials and work areas after

lessons.

C. Resource and Inventory Management

1. Organise, tidy and maintain the Science Laboratories, Science

preparation room, Art rooms, Art and CCA storeroom.

2. Pack, label and store teaching resources and equipment systematically.

3. Maintain an inventory of Science and Art resources and monitor stock

levels.

4. Inform the Reporting Officer when consumables and resources require

replenishment.

D. Other Duties

1. Carry out any other related duties assigned by the School Leaders,

Administration Manager and/or Reporting Officers.
