Job Description

Job Summary

You will lead and supervise a team of Assessors to conduct compliance assessments of licensed Security Agencies (SAs), ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement in assessment quality and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Monitor license expiry dates of all licensed Security Agencies (SAs) and track monthly assessment schedules to ensure timely compliance evaluations
Assign and coordinate Assessors to conduct monthly assessments and compliance checks at designated locations
Deliver training programs to Assessors to ensure competency in applying assessment criteria accurately and consistently
Track and report monthly progress of assessments to maintain transparency and accountability
Provide supervision and guidance to Assessors during assessments, including conducting quality assurance checks on their work
Obtain endorsement on findings and recommendations related to portion of the assessments
Review and validate assessment reports submitted by Assessors to ensure accuracy and completeness
Review representation reports submitted by alternate Assessors to maintain assessment integrity
Consolidate assessment outcomes and recommendations from all Assessors to produce comprehensive evaluation results
Collate and securely store vetted SACE checklists before transferring to the Policy and Research Division (PRD) for record keeping
Prepare an annual performance analysis report highlighting strengths and weaknesses of SAs and recommending enhancements to the competency assessment framework
Execute additional duties related to SA assessments as directed by the Authority
Adhere strictly to all rules and guidelines communicated by the Authority

Job Requirement

Required competencies and certifications

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Proficient command of English for effective written and spoken communication
  • Strong observation and analytical skills to evaluate compliance accurately
  • Competent report writing skills to document findings clearly and professionally
  • Effective organizational and project management skills to coordinate assessment activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication and reporting
  • Computer literacy to perform tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and take charge of managing Contract Assessors under supervision
  • Valid Private Investigator license required

    Preferred competencies and qualifications

    • Degree or equivalent qualification in any field of study
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in audit and/or compliance work
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in law enforcement work
    • Previous work experience as a member of the Singapore Police Force or any Law Enforcement Agency
