Software Quality Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
Analyse and decompose complicated software systems and design a holistic test strategy.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools, such as Playwright for OutSystems development to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Take a risk-based approach for test automation.
Lead system integration testing with other system owners.
Manage User Acceptance Testing.
Conduct Performance and load testing to assess system behaviour under different conditions and identify performance bottlenecks.
Perform Security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the security of the software product.
Manage defect life cycle, test artefacts and repository
Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools
Job Requirement
Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Strong analytical skills
Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage.
Understanding of security testing principles and tools, including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
Experience with VAPT, Contract Test, bamboo, Robot Framework,SikuliX, Selenium, HP Testing Tools (Mobile Centre, UFT, QC and Sprinter) Postman, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber or EggPlant will be an added advantage
Working experience with OutSystems will be an added advantage.
Working experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, XRAY) will be an added advantage.
Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage
