Job Description & RequirementsThe Services required are set out as follows:

• Maintain general cleanliness and functionality of the Science labs

and equipment.

• Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and Science

resource materials.

• Maintain a catalogue of lab resources to assist teachers in

planning of Science activities.

• Prepare lab materials/resources to ensure experiment is carried

out effectively.

• Assist in the preparation of apparatus and equipment for lessons.

• Assist teachers when experiments are carried out during lessons.

• Keep a log on loaning and returning of apparatus by teachers.

• Sit in during Science Olympiad lessons.

• Any other jobs assigned by the department – administrative work

which include collation of teaching and learning materials and

preparation of resources necessary for teaching and learning in

Science, helping during Science Practical Assessments
