Resident Engineer (M&E)

Job Description

Responsibilities

Support and assist the SRE in all of the above duties as directed by him and/or the supervising Qualified Person(s)
shall be familiar with the respective M&E system testing and Commissioning (T&C) procedure and attend T&C and necessarily follow up with the Consultant and Contractor;
Demonstrate strong understanding of respective M&E sequence of works and co-ordinating works;
The Resident Engineer shall have experience in solving site clashes/problem with regards to M&E and other disciplines.
The Resident Engineer (if no SRE) shall be responsible for maintaining discipline and punctuality among his team of RE and RTOs. He shall also ensure his team update their site movement chart and report absence to the office administrator.
If no RE or RTO (C&S) and/or no RA are appointed for the project, the RE (M&E) shall undertake the duties and responsibilities for the M&E and Architecture disciplines and supervise the works under the direction of the respective supervising Qualified Person(s).
