Job Description

The Regulatory Support Officer will provide efficient and professional regulatory support services to facilitate the processing of unmanned aircraft (UA) regulatory instruments and respond to queries from applicants and members of the public. The role ensures timely and accurate processing of regulatory instruments required for UA operations.

Key Responsibilities
Review and categorise applications based on defined regulatory criteria.

Process applications in accordance with established procedures and service standards.

Liaise and coordinate with relevant government agencies for application processing.

Maintain, update, and administer the permit tracking system.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enhancements to the permit tracking system.

Respond to enquiries from applicants and members of the public in a professional and timely manner.

Advise and guide applicants on application submission requirements and procedures.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of regulatory submissions.

Perform other administrative and regulatory support duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

Minimum A-Level certification or Diploma qualification.

Skills & Competencies

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel).

Strong organisational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience

Experience in regulatory processing or administrative support work.

Experience handling general enquiries from members of the public.

Experience in the unmanned aircraft (UA) industry will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements
Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and sound judgment.

Preferably no past criminal, breach of trust, or corruption records.

Subject to the Official Secrets Act and required to sign an Undertaking to Safeguard Official Information.

Available for immediate employment or at short notice.
