Job Description
* To perform customer service duty (mindset has to meet the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting).
* To answer phone calls, manage visitors, take messages, respond to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a very dynamic environment where calls are volumous).
* To be able to use school equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
* To handle daily varied demands and queries from parents / pupils / vendors / staff etc.
* To call pupils absentees and to check with parents on their child’s status every morning.
* To call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc / special events.
* To render first level assistance to walk-in pupils’ needs including sick & injured pupils. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases.
* To handle / support situation when pupils vomit, soil their clothes, need sewing of buttons and zips on uniform, arrange snacks etc.
General Duties
* To assist in the counting & sorting / distribution of brochures or leaflets/items to the teachers and pupils.
* To assist in the School Breakfast coupons compilation if required.
* To maintain the forms cabinet under the receptionist in the office. All forms must be current and replenished constantly.
* To manage the delivery of supplies and equipment and contact the teacher in charge to collect the delivered items.
* To get the relevant staff who is appointed as the Goods Acceptance Officer to sign on the delivery order.
* To support any other general administrative duties as and when required.
