Roles and Responsibilities:
To plan, manage, oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the health, safety and environmental matters for the Project.
To advise and report to the Superintending Officer and ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations
To manage the team of Dy PSMs and ASMs to ensure all duties and responsibilities required of them are discharged professionally and competently.
To ensure the stipulated number of Personnel are on site throughout the duration of the Contract
To implement a proper office administration work procedure to ensure compliance with the Specifications of the Contract
Job Requirement
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of WSH experience in deep excavation works of similar complexity, preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a team of site safety personnel.
- Possess a Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health
- Disciplines, or related qualifications.
- Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years.
- Has obtained certificate in development of a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
- Has obtained certificate in DfS appreciation course.
- Good communication skills and a competent team leader
