Job Description

Responsibilities

Organize and plan stocktaking activities for library, archive, and repository collections. Work with library staff, archivists, and other team members to carry out the stocktake.
Ensure stocktaking is done on time and that staff, tools, and systems are available.
Track the stocktake process and solve any issues that arise.
Check that collection records match the physical items in the library or archive.
Prepare reports on stocktake findings, missing items, or data errors.
Suggest better ways to conduct future stocktake.

Job Requirement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science, Information Management, Archival Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Training or coursework in records management, archives, or collection management is an advantage.
