Job Description

(a) Primarily responsible for maintaining the two Science rooms and

assist teachers in Science T&L (teaching and learning) and Science

related hands-on activities and preparation work of science activities

in the school.

(b) Preparing and/or assembling equipment and materials for hands-on

practical activities, Science Show-and-tell programmes,

Environmental Science activities, gardening and other Science

enrichment activities in consultation with science key personnel and

teachers concerned.

(c) Stock taking of all Science equipments and T&L materials and

resources and notifying and working with the level

representatives/Head of Department to purchase/replenish/refresh

science equipment/materials

(d) Cleaning, returning and sorting out equipment and materials to the

cabinets after use by the science teachers in the science rooms or

classrooms

(e) Seeing to the maintenance of equipment and materials in the

Science room including reporting of damage and faults to Science

Level Head and Head of Department.
