Job Description

To upkeep and maintain the conditions of the two Science

Gardens and one Eco-Planting Plot, including the following duties:

1. Watering of plants and planting areas.

2. Caring for existing plants and carrying out planting of new plants

where necessary.

3. General gardening maintenance, including weeding, forking,

trimming, and pruning.

4. Soil maintenance and improvement, including the application of

compost or suitable plant nutrients where required.

5. Pest and disease control measures for plants and planting areas.

6. Tending to specific plants and organisms such as butterfly host

plants and caterpillars, including cleaning the tanks where the

caterpillars are housed.

7. Tidying and upkeep of planting areas, including sweeping and

removal of debris, dead plants, fallen branches, and wild

creepers growing along fences, walls, trees, and planter beds.
