Job Description
We are hiring one qualified Medic Personnels to support adventure training activities at a camp facility in Pulau Ubin. The medic will be responsible for on-site medical coverage, emergency response, and supporting participants until proper handover to ambulance personnel when required.
Qualifications
Valid BCLS Certification from an accredited training provider.
Valid AED Certification recognised by relevant Authority.
Holds any of the following qualifications concomitant to their role(s):
a) Registered nurse under the Singapore Nursing Board with a valid practising certificate and preferably with A&E experience; or
b) Paramedic course approved by MOH; or
c) SCDF Emergency Medical Technician/medic; or
d) SAF Combat / Service Medic and Emergency Medical Technician; or
e) Any other relevant qualification by an accredited agency recognised by the Authority.
Competent in spinal injury treatment and spinal manoeuvres.
Skilled in airway management techniques during emergencies.
Able to set up and manage IV drip in emergency situations.
Trained and competent to use cervical collar, spinal board, and head immobiliser.
Job Requirement
Provide on-site medical coverage during all training and camp activities.
Be fully present throughout thescheduled session (9:00am – 5:00pm / 8 hours).
Respond immediately to injuries and medical emergencies during activities.
Provide first response medical support for minor injuries, illness, and emergencies.
Conduct emergency management including spinal injury stabilisation and patient monitoring.
Administer care such as airway support, IV drip setup, and trauma management when required.
Accompany injured participants until handover to ambulance personnel, if evacuation is needed.
Maintain readiness of all required medical equipment and supplies (must not be expired).
Ensure compliance with Authority inspections of medical equipment before or during sessions.
Salary Range: SGD 180 – SGD 230 per day
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (8 hours) - Per Session
