Job Description
1) Main Duties: –
Maintain appropriate stock levels, ensure stock rotation, and label
all items with expiry dates.
Notify teachers if there are insufficient ingredients. –
Receive groceries and ensure proper, hygienic storage, keeping
food storage areas clean. –
Organise and prepare ingredients required for practical lessons
2) Basic cleaning duties:
Ensure high hygiene and safety standards are upheld in both FCE
rooms and the FCE prep room; maintaining cleaniness of these rooms
(before and after each lesson) and ensuring that all kitchen utensils,
tools and cutleries, etc. are stored appropriately at the end of each
lesson. They may include sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning
table-tops, utensils, pots, and pans.
3) Teaching support:
Support teachers during lessons, including setting up cooking tools
and equipment required for each lesson
4) Event support:
Assist with events that require use of the FCE Rooms
5) Additional responsibilities:
Perform any other duties as assigned by the HOD overseeing the
department
