Job Description

The Services required are set out as follows:

1) Teach staff and pupils how to use Web 2.0 tools for Teaching &

Learning (T&L) on devices such as tablets and laptops.

2) Ensure ICT implementation and integration are according to the

school’s needs and interests.

3) Conduct IT lessons/trainings to all students from P1 to P6 based on

the ICT programme provided by the school. The ICT skillset to be

trained are subject to changes. The planned skillsets are as follow:

• Touch typing (English, Chinese and Tamil language)

• E-Book Making

• MS Word & google doc

• Video Puppetry using tablet apps

• MS PowerPoint and Google Slides

• Animation / Stop Motion

• Search skills with digital literacy

• MS Excel / Google Sheets

• Photo/Video Editing (e.g. Video Editor/ Photoshop/ GIMP)

• Digital Art (Use of Procreate App in iPad)

• Canva

• Coding (text based/block based)

4) Conduct CCA lessons for Digital Media Club according to CCA Weekly

5) Support CCA lessons for Robotics CCA according to CCA Weekly

Work Plan

6) Work closely with teachers to create lesson resources (test, lessons,

etc)

7) Taking on IT duties such as ICT administration, asset management

and ICT procurement.

8) Support the planning and execution of school’s ICT trainings.

9) Support teachers adoption of good ICT practice by exploring ICT tools

and applications for T&L.

10) Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.

11) Assist ICT manager in stock taking with basic stock taking skills.

12) Set up and manage various ICT tools to support school operations

(equipments, blue screen recording, podcasts recording, resource

booking, surveys, parent-teacher meeting)

13) Administer T&L-related surveys (Creating survey platforms and

generating results), admin work (Designing PowerPoint presentations,

posters, etc)

14) Facilitate school’s events / competitions by creating montages, editing

music and video, administering surveys, taking photo/ video-taking.

15) Work closely with teachers & students to cultivate a healthy e-learning

environment.

16) Contractor is to provide a replacement for a trainer to teach

Chinese/Tamil touchtyping during the period of training if the trainer is

unable to deliver the training.

17) Manage the bookings of Computer Laboratories

18) Possess basic coding skills to teach students and support Code for

Fun Programme

19) Video creation and production for school events.

20) To design and print ICT certificates for students trained by personnel.

21) Other ad-hoc duties or requests assigned by the School Leaders,

HOD (ICT), SH(ICT), ICT Manager and other assigned School Staff.
