Hypervisor Engineer
Job Description
Design and Implementation;
Design and implement hypervisor solutions, including architecture, configuration, and deployment.
Virtualisation Infrastructure Management;
Manage and maintain virtualisation infrastructure, including hypervisors, virtual machines, and virtual networks.
Performance Optimisation:
Monitor and optimise hypervisor performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve hypervisor-related issues, providing level 2 and 3 support.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge management systems for hypervisor infrastructure.
Job Requirement
The Hypervisor Engineer shall have at least 3 (three) years of experience with hypervisor technologies and minimally possess the following requirement:
At least 1 to 3 years of experience with VMware or Nutanix; or
Strong understanding of virtualisation concepts, such as virtual machines, virtual networks, and virtual storage; or
Certification in hypervisor technologies, such as VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA), Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA); or
Experience with containerisation technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes; or
Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet.
