Landscape Maintenance consists of:

a) Grass cutting

b) Trimming of plants

c) Fertilization

d) Spray of insecticides and fungicides

e) Treatment of snails and other pests

f) Removal of debris

g) Replacement of dead plants

h) Pruning of trees

i) Weeding

j) Soil forking

k) Watering of plants

Suggested Schedule Maintenance for the Gardener:

a) Weeding of all planted areas & road kerb sides every week

or as reasonably required by the School

b) Fertilization (shrubs & groundcover – monthly, mature trees

& bamboo trees – semi-annually)

c) Forking (fortnightly)

d) Edging (twice a week)

e) Trimming of shrubs & groundcover (monthly)

f) Turf & plant replacement/repairs/infilling (whenever

necessary)

g) Pruning of all trees & adjustment of stakes & guide wires

once every quarter or as reasonably required by the School

h) Pruning of all shrubs, hedges, groundcovers & potted

plants; & selective pruning of flowering plants once every

month or as reasonably required by the School

i) Replacement of unhealthy plants including potted plants

once every month or as reasonably required by the School

j) Fertilizing of all plants once every month to ensure vigorous

& healthy growth & look. Vendor to provide organic

fertilizers.

k) Carrying out insect, fungus & pest control services of all

plants once every week or as reasonably required by the

School

l) Removal of all debris, fallen trees, branches clippings &

other rubbish related to the stated services herein as

required or as directed by the School

m) Cultivation of soil areas between plants as required by

compacted soil conditions or as directed by the School

n) Wound dressing of all plants as required or as directed by

the School

o) Sweeping & clearing of leaves, litter, landscape debris and

unwanted materials (Daily)

p) Ensure there is no areas which water can be accumulated

and become a mosquito breeding ground (Daily)
