Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer practical driving tests to evaluate candidates’ ability to safely operate a vehicle on the road.
Conduct ADP practical tests in accordance with internal procedures and test routes,
Observe and assess candidates’ adherence to traffic rules, road signs, and driving etiquette.
Ensure the testing vehicle is in proper working condition and meets safety standards before each test.
Assess candidates’ performance during the driving test, noting strengths and areas of improvement.
Offer constructive feedback to candidates, detailing their performance on different aspects of the test
Highlight areas where candidates excelled and provide specific guidance for improvement.
Apply test standards consistently to all candidates to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the testing process.
Maintain accurate records of each candidate’s test performance, scoring, and any specific observations.
Generate test reports and feedback for candidates, outlining their performance and areas for improvement.
Provide comprehensive instruction to new and inexperienced drivers on the rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and safe driving practices.
Communicate clearly with candidates about the test procedure, rules, and expectations.
Address any questions or concerns candidates may have before or after the test.

Job Requirement

Requirement:

  • Certified Driving Instructor/Facilitator, preferably employed or formerly employed by an authorised Singapore driving centre.
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Extensive driving experience, preferably minimum three.
  • In-depth knowledge of local traffic laws, road signs, and driving regulations.
  • Proficiency in teaching various driving skills, including maneuvering, parking, and defensive driving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct and interact with students from diverse backgrounds.
