Job Description
1. Be involved in the case management team meetings/ operations to give feedback and updates on pupils (within the limits of confidentiality)
2. Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions for pupils who require
counselling support.
3. Keep clear and up-to-date records of cases under monitoring (monthly reports for critical cases).
4. Work closely with YHs, AYHs, SENOs and teachers to support the emotional well-being of the pupils.
5. Conduct professional sharing workshop with teachers in the areas of Transactional Analysis (TA) and guide teachers in the transfer of TA in the classroom.
6. Manage cases as designated by Year Heads and Discipline Mistress
7. Conference with staff, parents and external professionals on students under his/her guidance
8. Look into the referral of students and their families to community resources or external professionals when needed and work with external agencies to support the child
Job Requirement
Requirements
1. The Personnel should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
2. The Personnel should possess professional qualification in Counselling with at least a diploma certified by a recognised university.
3. The Personnel should preferably have at least two years of full-time working experience in counselling involving children and youth in a mainstream primary school.
4. The Personnel should preferably also have a professional certification in Transactional Analysis (TA).
