Job Description
Audio-Visual (AV) and Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
• Manage and support Audio Visual equipment during all school
events
• Set up, test and operate, and dismantle sound, lighting, and AV
systems for school activities (e.g. meetings, assemblies, Sports Day,
Speech Day).
• Maintain accurate inventory, loan and usage records of AV and ICT
equipment (e.g. projectors, visualizers, swivels, cables, sound
systems).
• Provide consultation and advice to to Head of department / ICT,
Subject Head / ICT, and ICT Manager on the school’s AV
requirements.
• Manage AV equipment in classrooms andspecialised rooms,
monitor usage, and carry out routine and annual maintenance.
• Support ICT Manager with liasing and coordinating with vendors for
servicing, repairs, and maintenance works.
• Support ICT Manager with the loan, replacement, and condemnation
of AV and ICT equipment and accessories.
• Carry out any other IT- or AV-related duties as assigned by the HOD-
ICT or ICT Manager.
Other duties:
• Train Information Technology (IT) Club students to operate the
Public Address (PA) system during assemblies and school events
• Prepare CD players, batteries, and related equipment for school-
based and national examinations (e.g. Listening Comprehension,
Oral).
• Handle the burning and preparation of CDs for examinations and
school events.
• Assist in photography and video recording for school events and ad-
hoc activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic Audio-Visual and ICT-related issues.
