Job Description

The Services required are set out as follows:

 Preparing teaching materials and learning activities based on

Primary Science syllabus, upon teachers’ requests.

 Assist students in the use of certain apparatus, as directed.

 Assist in preparing training materials to students, parents and staff,

as directed.

 Assist in the preparation of apparatus, equipment and reagents for

laboratory lessons.

 Maintain the cleanliness of the two Science Rooms, including the

preparation room.

 Maintain apparatus in the Science Labs/ Rooms.

 Maintain outdoor Science facilties and equipment in the school

(including the ponds, garden, hydroponics system and Integrated

Farming Systems (IFS); aquaponics).

 Clean and operate food waste system and farming systems (e.g.

Integrated Farming system, aeroponics and hydroponics systems)

 Maintain stock check/ inventory system (e.g, T & L resources, lab

equipments, Sparkle Kits, etc) on a termly basis.

 Any other administrative task or indoor/outdoor science facilities and

equipment maintenance related duties as assigned by the Authority.
