Job Description & RequirementsThe Services required are set out as follows:

• Be in the Teacher’s Preparation Room and food laboratories during

working hours

• Ordering of food ingredients before lesson

• Preparation of ingredients before lessons, ensuring food is prepared

and handled safely

• Maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment and food laboratories

areas

• Handling inventory and stock taking of resources e.g. books, utensils

and equipment

• Assisting the teacher during practical session e.g. ensuring that

students observe safety rules, guiding students in preparation skills

• Administration – Checking and filing of invoices and keeping track of

the cost of the ingredients

• Any other duties relating to the food laboratories assigned by NFS

teachers, SH/NFS, HOD/Craft and Technology and the School

Leaders.
