Job Description

Science Laboratory Operations (Part-time

 Set up the two science laboratories which are on separate floors for

lessons and science practical examinations

 Procure and prepare materials according to the lesson requirements.

These lessons also include science-related school modules

conducted each term across four levels. This is in addition to the

lessons and performance tasks in the science curriculum,

environmental science club activities as well as the weekly Science

E2K enrichment programme.

 Schedule the use of the two science laboratories by the teachers and

classes

 Manage the dissemination of teaching resources to science subject

teachers

 Catalogue all science resources such as laboratory inventory and

teaching materials

 Support teachers during Science practical lessons to ensure

laboratory safety is not compromised

 Assist teachers to coordinate and manage science-related

programmes such as science performance task assessments,

Science Fair, etc.

 Occasional tending of the school aquaponics and gardens, in

particular, the plants related to the teaching of Science

 Other duties as assigned by the Authority
