Key Responsibilities
1. Support School’s Student Management and Development Operations • Lead investigations into cases of student misconduct.
• Recommend and implement follow-up actions for misconduct in line with school policy, with application of Restorative Practice.
• Support teachers in managing students’ behavioural and peerrelationship issues, including coaching of students.
• Partner parents/guardians on issues of student misconduct to align follow-up and support at school and at home.
• Partner external agencies, including the Singapore Police Force, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and Family Service Centres, for complex cases.
• Serve as first responder for student management incidents, including disruptive classroom behavior.
• Supervise students placed on student management and development programmes (e.g. detention; in-school suspension; corrective work; GEAR-UP) and guide students through coaching during those programmes.
• Review disciplinary trends and suggest proactive character development initiatives to the Student Development Team. • Leverage the school’s Student Activities Centres for student guidance programmes.
3. Administrative & Integrated Support
• Maintain detailed case files on student interventions to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide other support as required by School Leaders.
