Job Description
1. Support School’s Student Management and Development Operations
* Lead investigations into cases of student misconduct.
* Recommend and implement follow-up actions for misconduct in line with
school policy, with application of Restorative Practice.
* Support teachers in managing students’ behavioural and peer-
relationship issues, including coaching of students.
* Partner parents/guardians on issues of student misconduct to align
follow-up and support at school and at home.
* Partner external agencies, including the Singapore Police Force, the
Ministry of Social and Family Development, and Family Service Centres,
for complex cases.
* Serve as first responder for student management incidents, including
disruptive classroom behavior.
* Supervise students placed on student management and development
programmes (e.g. detention; in-school suspension; corrective work;
GEAR-UP) and guide students through coaching during those
programmes.
* Review disciplinary trends and suggest proactive character development
initiatives to the Student Development Team.
* Leverage the school’s Student Activities Centres for student guidance
programmes.
3. Administrative & Integrated Support
* Maintain detailed case files on student interventions to ensure continuity
of care.
* Provide other support as required by School Leaders.
