Job Description

Supervise Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction works on-site to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and safety regulations while coordinating with stakeholders to achieve timely, quality project delivery.

Job Requirement

Supervise full-time on-site Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes and standards, including Building and Construction Authority and other statutory regulations
Coordinate effectively with Consultant Teams, Contractors, and Clients to facilitate smooth project execution
Monitor and inspect M&E installations such as HVAC, fire protection, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems for quality and compliance
Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations under Ministry of Manpower guidelines during all site activities
Conduct regular site inspections, testing, and commissioning checks to verify work quality and compliance
Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions before installation to ensure accuracy and compliance
Identify, report, and escalate non-conformities, defects, and project delays promptly to the Resident Engineer (RE)
Track project progress on-site and off-site fabrication to ensure timelines are met
Participate actively in site meetings, technical discussions, and coordination sessions to resolve issues and align stakeholders
Maintain accurate site records, including daily site diaries and inspection reports, to document project status
Support the Resident Engineer in project administration and technical matters to facilitate smooth operations
Oversee proper testing and commissioning procedures and ensure documentation is completed before project handover
Supervise defect rectification during the Defects Liability Period (DLP) to maintain project quality standards
Required competencies and certifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision of M&E works
Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and Singapore Standards
Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications

Registration or accreditation with Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
