Job Summary
Manage and enhance physical security systems, including preventive maintenance, access control, and security audits, to ensure operational integrity and compliance. Lead projects and daily operations to safeguard assets and support organizational security objectives.
Responsibilities
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance for IDS, turnstiles, emergency exits, access controllers, CCTV systems, NVRs, and ACS servers, documenting all activities in the CMMS and performing regular system backups
Administer employee access control by issuing and replacing badges/cards and configuring access rights and profiles
Manage secure storage and movement of precious metals by controlling cages, motion sensors, keys, trolleys, and monitoring associated CCTV and reclaim systems
Conduct physical security self-assessments and support audits such as ISO 28000 and RBA by preparing evidence and addressing audit findings
Review, update, and maintain security-related documents and procedures within the DMS, ensuring version control and compliance with corporate standards
Plan and implement analog-to-IP camera migration projects and other physical security enhancements, including installation and configuration of new cameras
Assess and fulfill facility, module, and production requests for CCTV, ACS, and turnstile installations or modifications
Manage daily physical security operations, including executing DOTL and monitoring cameras, barriers, turnstiles, parking systems, PoE switches, and NVRs
Operate and support FIDS by responding to alarms/incidents, performing initial troubleshooting, and coordinating maintenance with internal teams and external vendors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in Automation, Computer Science, or Electronics
3 to 5 years of supervisory experience managing security equipment
Strong project management, supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, adapt to changing conditions, and perform well under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
