Job Description

1. Outreach and engagement – engage and build positive

relationships with identified students during and/or outside

of curriculum hours (e.g. night, school holidays,

weekends), engage and connect with identified students

in school and/or community settings outside of school

compound, strongly encourage identified students to

attend school or after-school/community programmes,

and equip students with essential socio-emotional

knowledge and skills;

2.School collaboration – provide proper documentation,

relevant feedback and progress of students to school

personnel, and provide support and consultation to school

teachers on students’ needs and challenges;

3.Case management and Family Engagement – provide

case planning, management and counselling support to

the family, and conduct family engagement and

interventions;

4.Youth Worker for each school to be deployed only to the

school;

5.Assignment of Youth Worker should ensure continuity and

sustainability in the engagement of the identified students
