Job Description

Conduct daily routine inspections of recreational and gym areas to ensure readiness and safety.
Verify all facilities and equipment are in proper working condition (e.g., access systems, lighting, ventilation, flooring, windows, room fittings, gym and recreation equipment).
Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards and coordinate rectification with cleaning support.
Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders on cleanliness issues, breakdowns, and operational matters.
Ensure prompt reporting of faults, damages, and required repair works to the appropriate reporting channels/person-in-charge.
Support the planning and scheduling of facility usage in coordination with the person-in-charge.
Monitor and enforce proper use of facilities and equipment to prevent misuse, damage, and unsafe practices.
Maintain operational records such as inspection findings, defect reports, and follow-up actions.
Ensure discrepancies identified during inspections are reported and followed up within the same day (by end of duty).
Perform any other duties assigned by the person-in-charge to support smooth operations

Job Requirement

Qualifications / Requirements

  1. Minimum GCE ‘N’/‘O’ Level, NITEC/Higher NITEC, or equivalent.
  2. Prior experience in facilities operations / customer service / operations support is an advantage.
  3. Able to work in a staff recreation setting with staff and authorised guests.
  4. Observant and detail-oriented for inspections and identifying safety/maintenance issues.
  5. Basic understanding of workplace safety and incident escalation.
  6. Good communication skills for coordination and service support.
  7. Able to produce simple written updates (defects, incidents, follow-ups).
  8. Independent, responsible, and able to manage routine checks consistently.
  9. Willing to work evenings and weekends based on roster.
  10. Service-oriented and firm when handling misuse or non-compliance.
