Job Description

Job Summary

Manage and investigate student disciplinary and security-related cases, guiding students to take responsibility and supporting staff through effective case management and policy improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations of student disciplinary and security-related cases from initiation through closure to ensure thorough resolution
Guide students to understand the impact of their actions and encourage accountability
Present investigation findings clearly to the client Student Discipline Committee or other appointed forums to support informed decision-making
Ensure disciplinary sanctions are implemented and completed according to established procedures
Provide follow-up support and counselling to student offenders to facilitate positive behavioral change
Refer students to internal or external agencies for additional assistance when necessary
Collaborate with client staff during student discipline matters and emergency situations to maintain safety and order
Assist in reviewing and enhancing discipline policies, systems, and preventive programs to improve effectiveness
Maintain accurate disciplinary records and statistics, and prepare detailed reports for management review
Coordinate disciplinary hearings, documentation, and related administrative duties to ensure smooth case processing

Required competencies and certifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience as an ex-Singapore Police Force (SPF), Prisons, or Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) Officer in investigation operations
Minimum 1 year of experience managing and investigating student cases in educational institutions
Valid standard first-aid certification with CPR-AED prior to commencement of work
Preferred competencies and qualifications

Competent in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional IT skills to support case management
Relevant qualification and/or experience in counselling (minimally a para-counsellor) to enhance support for student offenders
Ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain a professional appearance
Willingness to work with youth to foster positive developmental outcomes
