Job Description
– Support the school management team in developing and
implementing ICT strategies that promote meaningful and innovative
use of technology in teaching and learning.
– Collaborate with MOE’s DXD to pilot and implement new ICT
initiatives in line with national directions and school curriculum
needs.
– Assist teachers in integrating ICT tools and pedagogies into
classroom practices to enhance student engagement and learning
outcomes.
– Provide feedback on ICT initiatives, highlighting areas for
improvement.
Operational ICT & AV Support
– PLD (Personal Learning Device) Technical Support:
› Provide repair, troubleshooting, and follow-up support for student
PLDs.
› Assist with resetting passwords, collection of PLDs, and
management issues related to PLDs.
– Device Support:
› Provide urgent support for SSOE2 and non-SSOE2 devices,
including iPads.
› Assist in monitoring and managing computer labs and media
studio facilities (e.g., equipment repairs).
› Maintain the console station in common areas (e.g., conference
room, design studio, media studio, hall backstage).
– Inventory Management:
› Support the tracking, upkeep, loans and management of school-
owned ICT equipment and assets.
› Propose improvement/enhancement to school infrastructure to
better support the use of technology (e.g. projection system,
announcement system).
– AV & Media Support (School Events):
› Main IC to provide technical support for school events, including
checking of AV panels, repair of projectors, and sound systems.
› Provide technical support for virtual meetings (pre and during).
› Support school-based video projects and provide morning
assembly AV support (e.g., laptops, microphones, sound).
› Collaborate with InfoComm Club CCA teachers and other ICT
personnel in delivering AV and media support, recommend AV
services and set-up.
› Guide InfoComm Club CCA students in the tech run and actual
run of school events.
› Attend to urgent AV fault reports and ensure timely follow-up on
repairs.
– Media & Broadcast:
› Support the school’s TV broadcast system in collaboration with
designated staff.
Support Other School Operational Matters
– Assist teachers in the photocopy of assessment papers (limited to
Weighted Assessments and major examinations).
– Support the conduct of internal examinations.
Capacity Building & Collaboration
– Organise and conduct ICT-related workshops, training, or sharing
sessions for staff and students.
– Collaborate with InfoComm Club CCA teachers and other ICT
personnel to build student competencies in ICT and media.
– Work with relevant school committees to plan ICT programmes and
support ICT-related events.
