Job Description
Responsibilities:
Support essential fire protection systems (smoke detection, fire alarm, gas suppression, pre-action sprinkler).
Administer and monitor critical M&E infrastructure using monitoring systems such as UPS Battery Monitoring, Water Leakage Detection, Security Surveillance, Video Analytics, Building Management, and DC Infrastructure Management.
Be contactable 24/7 via mobile phone and respond to emergencies
Conduct routine checks on facilities equipment and environment to ensure seamless operations.
Oversee regular servicing and maintenance, and ensure submission of service reports and documentation.
Manage IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) documentation for M&E equipment.
Prepare annual M&E maintenance schedules with appointed vendors.
Maintain and update SOPs for data centre operations.
Liaise with building landlords or facility management for building-related works (e.g., power maintenance).
Track infrastructure capacity (power, cooling) and provide recommendations for continual improvement.
Submit timely monthly reports using approved templates and attend regular review meetings.

Qualifications (Engineer/Specialist):
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- Certified in Data Centre Operations (e.g., Qualified DC Certifications).
- At least 18 months of hands-on experience in Data Centre Facilities Management (DCFM), including incident escalation, vendor management, and change/service request handling.
