Job Description
Responsibilities
Administration and configuration for Windows Servers;
End-user account management;
End-user device hardening and lockdown;
Troubleshooting and problem resolution; and
End-user briefings & awareness service.
To minimally support the following types of EUCD and Windows Servers:
Windows Servers;
Microsoft SQL Servers;
Desktops;
Notebooks;
Mobile Devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone or equivalent);
Video Conferencing Devices;
IP Telephones;
Printers, including multi-function devices (i.e. printers, scanners and fax devices);
(Other peripherals (e.g. external hard drives, mouse, smart-card readers, monitors, docking stations).
EUCD AND WINDOWS SERVERS MANAGEMENT
Apply patches for Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL Servers according to the documentation provided by the Authority-appointed Suppliers where appropriate;
Install, un-install or re-install operating systems, standard desktop software and applications and drivers for EUCD;
Job Requirement
Requirements
Minimum three (3) years of End User Computing Devices (EUCD) Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience with networking and system administration background;
Minimum one (1) year of experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server administration; and
Ability to identify the likely causes of incidents escalated by Level 1 EUCD Support Engineers and apply the known solutions related to these more complex issues.
