To man the Student Engagement Centre for the stipulated timing from Monday to Friday and ensure that the space is safe and welcoming to students.
* To leverage the Student Engagement Centre to organise activities that build a sense of belonging and affiliation to the school which encourages student participation in after-school activities and supports the school’s effort in nurturing a culture of care and respect.
* To proactively interact and connect with students on a regular basis over a prolonged duration and highlight or refer students with needs or potential issues to Head of Department in-charge of GEAR-UP for follow-up.
* To keenly observe, through frequent interactions and identify key needs of the students and to work with identified school staff to design strategies to address these needs.
* To design and implement activities that can engage students at the Student Engagement Centre during the daily opening hours of the centre (activities should support the student well-being and the social-emotional and aesthetics development of students). The programme or activities should enable and lead students to observable deliverables so as to develop a sense of accomplishment in them. This plan is to be included in the proposal. This plan should include, with as much details as possible, the nature of the activities to be conducted, such as enrichments, learning a skill or competition etc. This plan should be reviewed for improvement and changes, if necessary, on a termly basis.
* To conduct two activities during the semester term breaks to engage at-risk students (group size between 20 and 25)
* To design and implement a 7 week programme to build resilience in the Sec 1 students (2025 cohort). The programme should incorporate activities that are fun and engaging. Provide a learning curriculum for school’s perusal, when requested
