Procurement Manager (Ariba System Management)
Job Description
– Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, Evaluation, Contracting and vendor management.
– Utilize the Ariba system to create purchase orders, manage contracts, and track procurement activities.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and organizational objectives.
– Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure favourable agreements and optimize cost savings.
– Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain service levels and quality standards.
– Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
– Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
– Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
– Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Business Administration/IT/Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in procurement. Experience in IT procurement, Healthcare industry, formulation and review of procurement policies and procedures are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Ariba system management, including experience with purchase to order, source to contract management, and supplier collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
