Job description for Laboratory Technician

• Manage two laboratories and ensure that the equipment, tools

and other materials are adequately stocked and kept in working

condition.

• Carry out termly stock take

• Liaise with teachers to prepare, set up and clear up the

experiments and practical demonstrations

• Assist in preparing resources for other Science related matters

e.g. Science competition and eco-guardian activities

• Assist in germinating the seeds for the school’s hydroponics

system

• Watering of plants on the racks near the Science laboratory

• Feeding of fish at the eco-pond and at the greenhouse at level 4
