Deputy Technical Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the team of Technical Staff of the assigned Department in carrying out duties
Assume the role as the key contact person for the assigned department in laboratory operation and management matters and in providing technical support.
Ensure facilities and equipment problems are promptly followed-through and resolved.
Ensure continuous support to assigned School/ Department by managing knowledge transfer among the Technical Staff.
Direct and co-ordinate all other technical support matters including HR administration of staff, installation and testing of equipment, technical personnel training, logistic support, documentation preparation and operation start-up.
Assist in working with external vendors and internal departments to ensure proper technical setup and support service levels ,report any service lapses to the Technical Manager.
