Responsibilities
To provide technical support and assist stakeholders, such as staff and students, in the preparation and delivery of full-time and part-time academic
Set up, test, operate and troubleshoot software and equipment.
Assess production requirements and provide guidance to individuals and groups on the proper handling and use of equipment.
Generate lab utilization report for labs every semester.
To provide operational and administrative support duties in inventory management such as asset tracking, inventory movement and disposal:
Manage the Resource Management System and track equipment loans by staff or student
Manage stocktaking and disposal exercises.
Procurement, tracking and renewal of software licenses.
Receive assets from vendors as part of procurement.
Job Requirement
Requirements
- Expertise in at least two (2) of the areas stipulated below. Lighting for studio and stage (set-up, rigging and programming)
- Audio for recording studio, live events and post-production (set-up, rigging, system integration and operations)
- Video for multicamera studio, electronic news gathering, post-production and live streaming (set-up, rigging, system integration and operations)
- Virtual production (set-up, rigging, system integration and operations)
- Prior experience in management of inventory and assets (basic level).
- Familiarity and knowledge of industry standard assets
Certificate/Proficiency:
- Occupational First Aid
- Bizsafe Level 2
- Work at Height certification
- Other relevant skills such as safety and risk management
