Technical Officer, Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Maintenance

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Responsible for proper maintenance of gas turbine, generator and auxiliary systems as assigned by Head or Engineers in-charge.

Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently

Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the power plants for long term reliability and efficient generation output.

Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, contract labour and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications.

Liaise, supervise, and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, repair, shut down, and overhaul works

Support operation and maintenance engineers in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of plant defects and outages.

Maintain and control all records as required.

Assist in the preparation, certification and review of all management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001 annually and provide support to the auditing parties wherever necessary, including internal & external auditors, to rectify non compliances and/or to follow up on improvement items identified during audit.

Maintain and enhance the Control System Network and CyberSecurity of OT system.

Support engineers in managing maintenance contracts and inspections, testing and commissioning of new equipment.

Carry out routine and corrective maintenance programme of C&I in-charged equipment.

Inspection and acceptance of purchased materials and contract spares.

Reporting unsafe conditions/near miss incidents for rectification

Monitor ad-hoc plant projects/tasks to ensure on time delivery

Perform work orders allocated by Department Heads and/or Engineers
